How to see who viewed your facebook profile!!

My first experience with social networking site was orkut. And I immediately fell in love with it. Gradually I was invited to Hi5, Myspace, Tagged, Yahoo buzz and some others I cant even remember their name until I was invited to Facebook.  When I first saw the clean design interface of facebook, I knew it was time to move on and my orkut love
was finished at that point. But that's not the point of this post.



From my orkut days and my brief stay in some other social networks and also in facebook, I keep noticing that people are extremely interested to know who visited their profile page. Yet this is one feature that seemed to lack in these social networks. From a technical point of view, I don't agree that this is something very difficult to implement. But still I didn't see any of them to have this feature. But the smart spammers know about this feature, so it became a tool of exploitation.


Image via WikipediaDo you remember getting mails with subjects like nude photos of britney spears or anna kournikova those good old days are over and people know that clicking those links might get them into troubles. So the spammers created a new catch phrase 'see who viewed your facebook profile' and immidiately people fell into their prey. And the spam is spreading across the network. Facebook should either do something about the spamming or give people what they want. It's the people whose running zuckerberg's business, right?

The bottom line is, since yesterday I've been receiving an influx of invitations about this. To my friends, I am not interested to see who visited my profile. And this doesn't actually work. So please stop posting them. There are tons of stuff around to waste our time.
