I recieved my first Adsense paycheck.


Yesterday I recieved my first adsense pay check. :D . Obviously you've noticed the ad units in my blog. Those ad units were displayed when you visit this page and I generate revenue. So thanks to all my readers. Because it's your clicks on the ads that counts the dough. I am hoping to write a short preview about using adsense in your blogs shortly for beginners. But if you're interested there's tons of resources all over the web. Just google it and start playing with it.

I'm not the only one from Bangladesh. Blogger shaon and atunu has also their checks on the way. So more good news to come from other bangladeshi bloggers. Anyways I've bragged enough. Here's the check..

    I do have adsense in my blog, and also in the csebuet.org website I maintain. Actually, that's how I plan to pay off the domain name/hosting costs ... so far I've been paying out of my own pockets for the domain and hosting (which hurts a lot for someone maintaining a family on a starving-grad-student-salary). I haven't cashed my adsense earnings ... since I am in the US, I do have to go through some tax paperwork for this. So, I keep planning that I'll get that done next year ...

    Now that 2007 has started, I guess I might have to do that ....

    BTW, here is just for Your information. Do you think that Markus Frind's (Plentyoffish.com) cheque is the biggest? You are totally wrong! Check this Adsense cheque out (USD 636,000 on a single cheque). It came from Mr Big Check, and read what he said to me...

  19. Wow! and I thought a $0.31cents was worth making an article. Hahaha.. but i am happy for you. I hope I could make money like you from my blog. But I am just blogging as a means of making a diary of what I like and most of it is just to create a storage for what I might need in the future.. like snippets, codes, tutorials and stuff like that. :D Congrats..

    by the way, just applied adsense for just 2 days and that might explain the 0.31$ :)
